The item's I have included on my list will help assist my students become more successful in our classroom. For some of these little people, it is hard to sit in a desk all day, for 8 hours, and not have alternative ways to learn. By providing them with stand up desks, bouncy bands, and other things, they will ultimately become more attentive and be more successful in the future.
Stand up desks will assist those students who cannot sit in their seat all day and need to be on the go, or up and moving, at all times. Bouncy bands can assist those students who just need that little extra movement to help focus on the task at hand. Bean bag chairs will give students the chance to move around the room and be comfortable wherever they may choose to go. K Motion Stools will give students an alternative way to sit at their desk without the basic four legged chair. Headphones can help drowned out background noise so students can focus better without distractions from their peers. Seat sacks can help with organization, as many students in a special education class lack the ability to organize their materials.
