I see my students come in with no jackets. I know the stories of several of them. I know the families would be so blessed to receive the items I am requesting. Many of them have to work two jobs or night jobs to provide. The hats, gloves, and jackets will help my students stay warm in the the cold winter months. The snacks will be used for my students to eat in class between breakfast and lunch.
My students will use the jackets every day to and from school. When students don't have to worry about their life essentials each day, they will come to school more eager to learn. Please contribute to the worthy cause, as I am sure our school population will appreciate it.
This project will show my students that their health and happiness is valued.
