Having a standing desk will give my students a choice in how they learn best. Many of my students cannot sit still and need to be moving constantly but unfortunately, do not always get the chance to stand and work. This will overall benefit my students and the learning environment that I have created for my students.
I work with students with ADHD, autism and learning disabilities and this requires differentiated instruction because of their vast learning styles. These students receive support in their core content classes but I also work on social-emotional skills, anger management and organizational skills. My students rely on me and I would love to be able to give them something (with your help) that will enhance their learning experience.
