Each student will be manufacturing their own wood case with a drawer. Students make a blue print of the project and label correct measurements of each piece. They will be needing to use a router to make appropriate dado joints using correct measurements so shelves and other pieces can fit precisely together. One if the router needs replacing after 5 years and 1500 projects. Students will also use the laser to cut out decorations or engrave images onto the book case. Students will need to vacuum out the laser after use. We just got a laser but need a way to clean out the tiny wood scraps with lots of student use.

About my class
