Knowing how we teach and how students learn are the keys to classroom success. As aspiring health professionals, in a project base learning environment, with minimal funding, I must be innovative and creative in my teaching strategies to increase student engagement and academic achievement.
The requested and much needed materials will make a difference in my students' learning because it will allow me to reach the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learner. From bacteria growth, to infection control, to phlebotomy and blood components, I want to introduce a vast variety of healthcare concerns so my students can discover their passion, become gainfully employed, and contribute to society.
