Having 6 Chromebooks in the classroom would allow my students access to completing assignments independently and also in small groups. Using Google Drive and Google Classroom will help my students develop reading, writing, and collaboration skills. I will be able to teach my students the writing process and apply inquiry based learning. Students would have the opportunity to work in collaboration with their peers and have class discussions online.
Students will be able to use technology for reading and writing activities, collaborate with their peers, and also receive teacher feedback, all paperless! I will be able to assess learning in real time and students will be able to make corrections and revisions to their work as soon as I provide them the feedback. Students will learn skills they will take with them to high school and beyond to be successful.
