Because no two students learn the same, meeting them where they are in order to grow their listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills are critical. While facing this year's unique challenges of remote learning, literacy skills can still be learned, practiced, and mastered with the use of Story Works differentiated magazines. The articles can be printed or assigned digitally in 3 different reading levels, with scaffolded vocabulary slides and support videos. The printed copy can be sent home encouraging students to share their new knowledge with family members and reread passages aloud for fluency practice.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to ignite engagement and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase our students' language skills.
