Last year was extremely difficult. We had to go against all the best practices that we know are developmentally appropriate for our students to learn and grow. Our school was remote for most of the year. I was able to go back in April to teach in person. With social distancing and COVID protocols, I realized I do not have enough materials to make individual centers.
With COVID numbers rising again, I want to start putting together individual centers to ensure we can still play while we are learning! I will takes these requested materials and put together individual centers. Last year students were not allow to share materials. In addition, I had to spray materials after every use and allow it to dry for a certain amount of time. With these additional materials, it will allow students the opportunity to use different manipulatives throughout the day without having to share or wait for them to be sanitized.
