My students are working and learning the same as their peers throughout the country, with technology. They have many online accounts to learn math and ELA skills. It seems that technology is the way to go and my students are eager to learn as much as they can.
Unfortunately, when all my students are on a laptop, there is a lot of noise coming from each laptop. It becomes very hard for each child to listen to what their laptop is playing, they can hear hear their classmate's laptop as well. It can be quite confusing. We have been borrowing headphones from other classrooms and returning them each day. It would be very helpful and sanitary to give each child their own headphones to use in class.
The ultimate goal is give each child their own headphones. Therefore there will be no arguments about which headphone belongs to which child. Each child will learn responsibility as they care for their own headphones each day.
