Our students will meet together to learn proper table etiquette while enjoying a tasty meal. They also use this time to have adult and student-led discussions about the issues and choices presented to them as young people in today’s society. The small-group topics include self-love/self-care, personal relationships, goal setting and many more. After good food and good conversation, the two groups will join together for a dance party.
The annual tradition is a fun, meaningful way to bring students together that ultimately helps them better their relationships with others, but most importantly, promotes growth within themselves.
This year, staff would love to expose our students to a new environment. Many of our students do not have the experience of dining out in a restaurant where they should practice proper etiquette. The Spirit of Boston is offering our students a unique opportunity that they [students] would not have otherwise. They have the opportunity to see a new side of Boston that they have never seen. The event will be a memorable one that students will cherish.
