I have multiple 3 year-olds who are non-verbal or have very little communication. Utilizing iPads in the classroom would help these students immensely with communicating their wants/needs/emotions with teachers and their peers through apps. As a preschool teacher, it is difficult seeing young students struggle to speak and get their thoughts across to the adults and their peers in the room. They will be thrilled about the technology in the classroom! Additionally, students could use these iPads for intentional play through learning programs and apps. Currently, our classroom does not have any technology for my students to play/explore with. With this project, I am hoping to not only help my students communicate but to provide an engaging way for them to play and learn. Thank you for your consideration and support to this project!
