In my classroom, my students have a wide range of strengths, needs and learning styles. They all have a passion to learn and succeed, but as a teacher, I know that this is achieved differently for different learners.
Throughout the day, students spend a large amount of time sitting in a chair or on the carpet and begin to get distracted, wiggly and uncomfortable. My students would benefit from the flexible seating options because they can have a voice in what fits best for their learning needs. This way, their learning needs are met as well as their peers who need a calm and quiet environment to focus.
