Year in and year out we learn about the colonization of Mars. We research through Peer-reviewed journals and articles to gather information about Mars. We find evidence that will work to support life on Mars.
The Expedition to Mars game will allow a hands-on activity to symbolize what life would be like on Mars. The students get to build their own colony as a commander of their colony. This activity allows students to cross content to more than one subject. Students will use math, political science, and geography to enhance their placement of their colony.
The rocks would be used for a lab we do every year to identify rocks by color, hardness, crystalline structure, and luster.
