Make a donation Ms. A. Lopez can use on her next classroom project.
Students will be using watercolor sets and paintbrushes in a center to create culminating projects. In history, students have been learning about the 4 main regions of the State of California.
The donations to this project will allow students an opportunity to use the materials to re-create the beautiful landscapes. Using markers, crayons, and stencils, students will work in small groups and individually to design posters based on their learning. Student drawings will provide a doorway for writing to represent what they learned.
Students will also use materials to work out story problems in math by color coding important information and using colored arrows to show calculations in a multi-step problem.
The donations to this project will provide many opportunities for a diverse group of students to express their learning through art. The materials from this project will encourage active learning, help students make and express connections to content, and help students develop collaborative work skills!
