I teach 16 eager to learn 3rd graders. My students receive free breakfast and free lunch. We set goals at the beginning of this school year and they all are wanting to be better readers and have good math skills. They don't receive a lot of help at home so school is where most of their learning comes from. They don't have a lot of background knowledge so anything I show them on the computer is amazing to them. They live in a little bubble of our city with most not going many places. Having technology in the classroom would enhance their learning and let them see what a great big world we live in.
