Teaching problem solving skills is essential for building minds for the future. These materials will be used to create STEM bin-based activities to challenge my students and build their problem solving skills.
By having these STEM bins, my students will become inventive and imagative thinkers. Having these supplies will enable my students to use their imaginations. For example, some of the challenges include building a castle, boat, or chair using toothpicks and playdough or straws and pipe cleaners. My students will have to challenge themselves to solve how to make a castle using toothpicks and playdough. I cannot wait to see what my students will be able to achieve and create.
