Our classroom is unique in that you will not find a typical student's desk! We have adaptive equipment everywhere! Each student comes to school in their wheelchair, however, they spend little time in it during the school day. Rather, they are utilizing our Physical Therapy equipment, or playing with toys hanging from the ceiling in their standers, roaming the hallways in their walkers, etc. The students are not interested in typical toys or academic activities; they need things that light up, make sound, move, and have different textures in order to motivate them to engage with something independently. Each student in our classroom will benefit greatly, and on a daily basis from all of the items from our classroom project! We greatly appreciate any help that you can give!
