I am requesting several different seating options for my students. I teach high school English to a wide variety of students with varying ability levels. Classroom desks are appropriate for many students, but some of my students need other options. Standing desks or seats with a yoga ball might be the best possible option for them.
I want my students to be able to sit, stand, rock, wobble and just be comfortable while they learn.
Learning doesn't have to be done in a rigid straight-backed chair. Standing desks with the option of a stool, yoga ball chairs, wobble seats, soft seating, or a table and chairs might be a better option for students.
