The books I've chosen will help all of my students in the classroom! They are leveled to ensure I am differentiating for all my littles. These books will allow my students to work on comprehension, phonemic awareness/phonics skills, high frequency words, develop voice in their reading and SO MUCH MORE!
Kindergarten is the prime opportunity to instill the love of reading! These books will allow my students a variety of stories to enhance their love of reading while simultaneously building confidence in becoming independent readers.
The anchor chart will be used all day, every day. It will allow me to move throughout the classroom and gives the students an opportunity to better engage in our learning throughout the day! All my students will have moments where they are the teacher, using the anchor chart as their learning tool! This is where all students will get practice with their reading and writing in whole group and small group settings.
