My students need to become more proficient in keyboarding. They have to use keyboards attached to their iPads to type on their Standardized tests at the end of the year and being able to touch type will help with that. The key covers will help to encourage the touch typing because they will not be able to peek. The donations for this project will help my students to improve their technology skills. The younger students will benefit more from the headphones because a lot of the activities they do on the computer give them oral instructions. Without headphones they can't hear the instructions. The lab gets loud with all the computers and is very distracting to some students. Putting on the headphones helps them to focus. I have a great group of students who work very hard. This project will boost their learning and love of technology.
