A new classroom library will give my students more opportunities to read daily. With more books in the classroom, students can read independently, with a partner or during guided reading lessons. Students will be able to share their reading with a partner or group. More books will also stimulate vocabulary and comprehension. Reading daily will likely increase literacy and promote the love of books. In turn, school test scores and data may increase as well. This donation will help students feel better about themselves and possibly help behavioral issues. Just imagine more books will make happy kids, happy teacher, and a happy class.
