Currently, students in Precalculus AB Honors will benefit from the use of dry erase boards, markers, erasers, and other resources in every domain/standard. For example, students will be able to perform the following on their individual boards...
- To solve problems using the algebra of functions. (Relations and Functions, Standards 1.2)
- To solve problems using the Fundamental Theorem of Algebra (Relations and Functions, Standards 1.7)
- To sketch the graph of a polynomial, radical, or rational function. (Graphs of Polynomial Functions and Rational Functions, Standard 2.9)
- To graph conic relations both using center and vertices; and by using transformations. (Conics, Standard 3.3)
- To define, add, subtract, scalar multiply and multiply matrices (Systems of Equations Matrices, Standard 4.1)
- To simplify trigonometric expressions and prove trigonometric identities. (Trigonometric Functions, Standard 5.3)
- To sketch the graph of combined trigonometric functions (sum, difference, product or composition of two trigonometric or polynomial functions) with or without technology. (Trigonometric Graphs, Standard 6.4)
