These materials will help the students be fully engaged with the lesson by having them able to write on the white boards themselves during my math group. Drawling arrays and reviewing place values will be greatly beneficial for them. I believe that the colored pencils will also help on phonics when learning digraphs, syllables, and compound words. They have their own crayons in their own class, but having an easy and fast way to get them would be great. Also, playing games will help them learn math and sight words in a fun way. I always seem to have five to eight minutes left of my session with the kids and would love to play an academic game, which they requested. We play bingo with sight words right now, but would love to have an actual game they can play with rules and partners. My students always have a smile on their face, even when overcoming challenges. they will be grateful for anything !
