Since getting our class bearded dragon my student have become interested in growing some of her food. With the use of an indoor green house and seed germination tray we will be able to produce plants and vegetables for her meals all school year.
This will help to increase student engagement in both math and science.
When teaching students with learning differences it's important to make sure activities are hands on and engaging. The use of an indoor green house and seed starter will help students connect the growing cycle of plants. Additionally, my students will learn about eating a balance diet and why it's important for our class pet and ourselves.
