All of my students are curious about their world and how it works. To see their inquisitive faces when a science experiment surprises them is always a highlight in my day.
I want them to make their own discoveries by conducting their own experiments. Using these STEM basic materials, my students will strengthen their problems solving strategies building things like bridges, catapults, floatation devices, towers and earthquake-proof structures. They will observe and measure their world via shadow drawings, planting sunflowers, and constructing parachutes. These simple items like tin foil, rubber bands and cotton balls will be their tools of exploration.
