Today's world is built around technology and technology is also a big part of teaching and learning. My students are continuously working in small groups that vary on a daily basis. They are often working in Google classroom, Go Math, Achieve 3000, or completing projects in MyOn all through the use of their Chromebooks.
If we had these portable laptop seats, we could place our students in more flexible groups around our spacious classroom. They wouldn't have to be constantly sitting at their desks or cramped in at small tables. They can take their portable laptop seat and sit at the rug in the front of the classroom or if we receive our Planet Educational Learning carpet, they can sit in the back of the classroom, as well.
Our tables will be able to fit other groups more adequately. We have the space, so I would like the students to use it in their diversified learning environment, which includes a few autistic students who transition in throughout the day. These items will make a big difference in the teaching and learning that take place in our classroom daily!
