The students of my Falcon Films class are incredibly hardworking and dedicated to their craft. We have eleven film crews consisting of three students each. Beyond creating morning announcements on a daily basis, we strive to create fun videos that stretch the boundaries of our students creativity. Thus far we have created music videos, parodies, short films, movie trailers, youtube videos, and mystery reveal videos. My students are currently working on anti bullying videos. However with each project we create my students are constantly competing for camera time. We have eleven filming crews however we only have six cameras to be shared between them. This makes for a stressful environment for the kids as deadlines approach and they find themselves without a camera but still needing to film scenes. It is my hope that by this time next year, my students have a 1:1 camera to film crew ratio.
