The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The cushions and reading privacy barriers will be placed in student independent workspaces for privacy in leveled reading and to reduce distractions. The PowerMyLearning opportunity will be immediately accessed for my own and teams' increased competency in bridging learning between school and home. The noise canceling headphones will help students increased quality reading without distraction in the academic environment for students with particular learning needs. The book bags will be employed for learning tools to take between school and home.
All tools will increase quality reading workshop time for increased enjoyable and intentional reading time. All materials will increase student access to reading and overall learning time that would otherwise not be provided due to very limited funding.
