In Texas, 4th grade social studies is all about Texas history! A trip to Austin, Texas will provide our students the opportunity to explore the history of Texas visually, kinesthetically, and audibly.
We want to take a trip to Austin, Texas to bring our great state's history to life for our students. We will visit the Bob Bullock Texas State history museum and the Texas State Capitol. This field trip will provide our students with a hands on experience of Texas' rich history. Our students will have the opportunity to explore the museum, watch a 4-D movie, and have a guided tour of the Texas State Capitol. Many of our students have not had the opportunity to visit Austin, Texas. This field trip would be a memory and a learning experience of a lifetime. Our students would have the chance to visit a new place, experience Texas history in a way they have not, and instill a love of learning.
