I am asking for a carpet, bean bags for a sitting area for a reading center, and math/literacy centers to learn from hands-on activities and small group work. Our school lost so many items after the storm. We are trying our hardest to get back to normal and make our classrooms more inviting. Our students are still recovering and are in a Title 1 district with many low-income house holds and apartment. We want the students to be at home when they come into our classroom.
These classroom essentials will help my students get back to normal and give the parents a piece of mind whom are still suffering after the damage from Hurricane Harvey. My students need these materials to help our classroom be more comfortable and have a successful learning environment
