"My cardboard box is falling apart!" This is a common refrain in my classroom. My students each have their own book box for their independent reading books. We are using cardboard magazine boxes which are not very durable or stable. Plastic book boxes would provide an easy way for my students to store their self-selected books until it is their independent reading time. No more domino effect when the boxes are returned to the shelf!
This would be win-win for everyone.
The colored card stock and sharpies will allow me to create easily identifiable differentiated learning activities for both literacy and math centers.
Thank you for considering our project and for all your generosity.
