Each day my Pre-K through 6th Grade students have the opportunity to walk into our FES art classroom where they are excited to see what culture, art style, artist, and techniques we will be exploring that week. Many of our students don't get the opportunities to travel far outside of our small, rural town of approx. 4,000 people in the low- socio-economic delta area of Arkansas. Art class allows them to enter a world of learning that takes them out of their small-town existence to discover the world while learning cool art techniques and styles that they can have fun exploring with their classmates. However, due to our economic area, obtaining the supplies needed to learn, create, and explore art are often out of reach. That's why we need your help.
