Many of my students have autism and have many sensory needs. Some of my students have under-stimulation from the environment around them, which causes them to be distracted and inattentive to the instruction within the classroom. These sensory items will help my students meet their sensory needs so that they are able to successfully meet their learning goals. My school is a Title I school, so many of my students come from low-income households where money is tight and parents are unable to purchase items to help their students. With your help, this classroom can be the best it can be.
