We are requesting three iPads. Having more technology available will allow additional learning opportunities for students. Students can use the iPads for research projects, creating video book reviews, and use QR codes for different projects and games in the library. Students will be able to work with multi-media resources that will motivate them to practice new concepts and enhance their ability to expand their learning and reading. The iPad design enables collaborative group experiences, it has a more open format that can be carried throughout the library for scavenger hunts and QR code scanning. It is also manageable for younger learners, and also holds the attention of all students. With the addition of iPads, students will have the option of having e-Books, book or story applications, and databases for research.
