Having a class set of dividers will help students keep their eyes on their own paper while testing. It helps me better assess my students and where they are academically by giving the students a way to protect their responses. Therefore the tests will be an accurate representation of what each student knows.
Giving the students flexible seating options can help those that have trouble sitting in a traditional chair and desk setup succeed. The reading chair and the bean bag would also give them options for where they can sit and read a book in our class library. The bean bag chair and reading chair will provide students with new places to complete their assignments.
