Students will use math and clay to build a scaled model of the solar system! This will be a STEM project that will require students to apply what they have learned. Students will also place the clay in the correct location showing the scaled distance from the sun. Students will use the Play Dough to create scaled models of each planet in our solar system. They will use research and math practice to determine the correct size of each planet. This will be an excellent visual for students.
This will be an engaging, hands-on lesson that students will remember forever! It incorporates math, art, and science.
