I'm requesting these Chromebooks to help my students create online portfolios for college applications and job interviews. Students in my Learning Support classes work on presentations and papers for their Social Studies and Literature classes. We use Google Drive, Docs, and Slides extensively. My students will create online portfolios full of essays, presentations, and resumes. They'll use these computers to type faster, do online research, and write essays. In order to prepare my students for graduating in 2021, I need to give them access to the latest technology. With these Chromebooks, my students can create an online portfolio of presentations and papers that they can take with them for college or job interviews.
