I devote my time to an inclusion class where there is a mix of general and special-education students. I work in an inclusion class, where the students’ level of skill and content absorption vary greatly. My students are little treasures who revere their instructors as a means for acquiring as much knowledge and information they can absorb. They arrive to the classroom promptly with their assignments ready to be checked. Mine, and my mentor’s only means of delivering our knowledge to our students is by means of a box of chalks, and a blackboard, the very same antiquated technology that has been around for centuries. Every day, for 7 hours, my students are in an environment that promotes learning in the most engaging way possible. While my school lacks many 21st century technologies, my students are nonetheless grateful and thankful for what they have, and are always looking to try new things to further progress their knowledge and understanding of the world around them.
