For the 23-24 school year, I will be a new 3rd grade in a new district and school. I'm excited about this opportunity to be working with a great set of students. In our classroom, we will be focusing on math and science. My new school is a Title I school in Texas, where 97% of our school's population is economically disadvantaged. All of our students receive free breakfast and free lunch. They absolutely love to learn, and despite the challenges most of them face, they enjoy coming to school every day. In order for me to be able to accommodate students, I must have the resources and materials readily available for them to access. Having items donated to our classroom would help me accomplish just that.
