With the weather turning colder my kiddos need some things to keep them busy during recess. Being from a Title I school we have very few supplies to keep us busy and entertained.
The games will help us learn to follow instructions, be team players, incorporate sharing, and of course being a leader. We will use the EXPO markers to play hangman, tic-tac-toe, and other games.
My students would use Scrabble to create new vocabulary words to learn words. Yahtzee helps with math skills, and the other games will help build good social skills. As their teacher, I want them to utilize every moment learning and interacting, not just watching a movie. Indoor recess can be a great learning experience, if we get all these great games!
