I envision my students using the Chromebooks for independent work for literacy and math skills. The Chromebooks will be an addition to another tablet in the classroom to increase available technology for students who may otherwise not be exposed to technology. These requested resources allow my classroom to open doors that instruction with pencil and paper cannot open. The world of apps is limitless, and my students can only flourish and expand their knowledge from the use of these apps and programs.
Having current technology available will narrow the gap between students who have access to technology at home and those who don’t. The only access most students have to technology is their parent’s cell phone. Current technology will provide as many 21st Century learning experiences for them as possible.
