I am asking for a Grade 2 leveled library, a Magic Tree House sampler and a Nate the Great sampler. This wide selection of books at various reading and interest levels will help support both my struggling and advanced readers. My students will reinforce their love for reading while improving on their fluency and comprehension. For example, by having a wider selection of both fiction and non-fiction books, my students will have a greater choice of reading material within their reading level. In addition to the benefit of having a wide selection of books, the easel will support student learning during group work as it may be moved around the classroom instead of staying in one spot. In addition to teacher use, my students will be able to use it for presentations and for group discussions about books they are reading.

About my class
