This project will provide students with tolls necessary to help them further their learning in STEM fields. Students will be using these materials to build a robot for competitions. These materials will make this process easier and more effective.
We are striving to involve students and expose them to engineering and engineering practices. With these materials this can be achieved more easily. The students want to learn more and need the tools to do so. We need two Cordless Drills, the two Small Parts Cabinets, the Angle Grinder, and the Drill Bit Set that will be used by the students to build our robot. We need the new drills and angle grinder to help create parts for the robot. We use aluminum to build the various mechanics of the robot and we need the special power tools to help us do this. The drills we have are old and need to be replaced soon. The two parts cabinets would be used to help organize our screws, bolts, washers, and nuts. This will make it much easier for the students to find the parts they need. We want to prepare these students better for their future careers and through robotics this can be achieved. These materials will be used for years to come and will make teaching and learning better for all.
