This project will make a difference in students' lives by allowing them to learn first hand about environmental sustainability and the natural world! At Camp Widjiwagen students will learn about eco-systems, sustainability, Native American history, and greek mythology. This trip will inspire our students to find learning, beauty, and community in the outdoors. For many of our students, this will be the first experience outside of the city. Students will develop their confidence, curiousness, and self-reflection while learning how to ice-fish, hike, leave no trace, and survive in the Minnesota winter. They will strengthen relationships and create memories that will last a lifetime.

About my class
