Creating a classroom that’s functional and doesn’t depend on me the teacher for everything is my definition of classroom success. Teaching our young students about organization at a young age is key to having a bright future!
In kindergarten we work with many tools and we participate in a lot of hands on activities. Which means sometimes we have multiple tools, but not many places to store them. Having seat sacks would benefit the students by creating a new space for their belongings. This would help them with organization and ownership. They would be in charge of caring for their seat sacks and organizing their items located within. This would also free up space on our tables for bigger and more active projects!
