Many of the students in my classroom face the challenge of the "scary" ADHD label everyday. Focusing and staying on task is something that does not happen naturally for these students. With interventions in place these students have a chance to be successful without medications or other larger educational measures. The school in which these students attend offers a wide variety of services for learning disabilities, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech/language therapy. However, these students do not meet the requirements to receive these services so we service them with intervention in the classroom.
About my class
