Our classroom is in need of 7 Chromebooks. Right now we have 3 Chromebooks in our classroom that 27 students and I share. We use them almost daily during our Language Arts lessons. Students are able to do everything from practicing basic typing to large structured research projects. Having more Chromebooks will bring my class closer to 3:1 student to Chromebook ratio. It is very difficult to meet the expectations of the 21st century learning with limited classroom computer access.
Through weekly computer classes, my students are learning coding, and they are working on creating their own Mindcraft communities. These two projects alone have helped my students deal and cope with the senerios left behind from the fires in Northern California by introducing them to worlds out of our reality. Your donation could give students the opportunity to be able to practice their new technology skills regularly which could be life changing.
