All of my students use visuals around the room to help with literacy. Our class likes to create visuals for each theme that we cover which can be either weekly or monthly. The materials requested will help with providing students with the confidence they need to learn skills such as recognizing letters, numbers, and alphabet sounds. As they progress, they will be able to utilize the materials independently amongst their peers. The printer will help bring "color" to the literacy learning cards that are placed around the classroom. The laminator will help the materials be reuseable for the next school year, instead of the teacher having to remake the same themes the following year.
