I teach a self-contained inclusive First grade class. I have 24 students. The school is a Title I School in a small rural town. The students that make up the class have a wide range of abilities from students that are working on a much higher grade level than most, to students who are not working on grade level. This class also has autistic students included in the classroom. Due to the range of abilities, the students are taught on their individual level through the use of differentiated instruction.
