Our classroom music time is very limited, with an increase in the number of students often we do not have enough instruments or the children can not hear the music. My students need preschool level musical instruments such as triangles, drums, bells, and maracas to follow the songs and movements during music time. These instruments also work on hand strength, and eye hand coordination. Currently I have an old android phone that I have downloaded my music onto.
With a larger Android tablet and Bluetooth speaker our class could have more choices and the children could actually choose songs themselves during music time. Having more choices will also lower frustration levels and increase their speech and language skills when making choices and interacting together.
